The Villa Floresta is in the heart of everything. The owners and staff are warm and welcoming, the rooms spacious, clean and quiet and I had one that faced the sea. The building is historic and filled with character. Breakfast is taken on rooftop filled with sunshine and water views. The owner helped me get an inexpensive ride to Catania which was saved me considerably. They are very accommodating.
Guests need to be prepared for its being a villa and not a hotel. An older building has charm but few frills. My bathroom was private but outside of my room down a hallway. While my room was nicely air conditioned, the bathroom was not. It was an inconvenience as it was hot and humid while I was there making the bathroom stifling. I believe all other rooms have integrated baths. Breakfast consisted of bread and your choice of beverage. Nothing more. I was satisfied with what was offered, but others may want something more extensive. Also, due to their age, the doors close and the keys turn in the locks loudly.

Central location in Taormina; interesting 13th-century building right off the Duomo square, very picturesque; would be great for people who like to shop, as it's also off the Corso Umberto I, an upscale and pleasant antique shopping warren of stores and boutiques
Central location was good in principle but terribly hard to find, to access by car to transfer luggage, and to transfer luggage away from, as it's in a pedestrian area and parking is impossible. We had to park the rent car far away in a hard-to-access public parking garage and lug the bags a great distance on foot. The B&B's rooms were on the third (second, in European terms) floor, and carrying our bags up 43 steep stairs was very difficult. The accommodations were clean but remodeling such an old building produces odd room arrangements and bathroom additions. This place would be better for young travelers with limited baggage, like bicyclists or motorcyclists

A little noisy, but hey, it's in the middle of Taormina!

Location
Cold, poor, air condition not working, no blankets, the worst night on sicily. The owner also took 5 euro more.

The hotel is located in a great spot, close to everything and easily accessible from the coastal road near the cable car. Rooms come with great views of the sea and the square, and are clean and comfortable. the breakfast is simple but tasty, served in a lovely café in the heart of town.
The hotel's external bathrooms could do with a bit of extra cleaning.
